Vicente Blasco Ibáñez Biography
Vicente Blasco Ibáñez (1867-1928) was a Spanish author and politician. He was born in Valencia, Spain and began his career as a journalist. He then became a successful novelist, publishing works such as "Cañas y Barro," "La Barraca," and "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse." He was also a politician, serving as a member of the Spanish parliament and as a senator. He was known for his liberal views and his opposition to the Spanish monarchy. In addition to his political and literary career, he was also a film producer, adapting some of his novels into films. He died in 1928 in France. His works have been translated into many languages and have been widely read around the world.
